Draymond Green Out At Least One Week With Mild Calf Strain
Draymond Green will be out at least one week due to a mild calf strain. Green underwent an MRI on Sunday, and the Golden State Warriors said Monday that its defensive leader will be reevaluated in one week. Green, who sustained the injury on Saturday, had just returned from a three-game absence due to illness and a back issue. "He's such a unique player," Steve Kerr said before facing the Boston Celtics on Monday. "He's one of the best playmaking bigs in the league playing with Steph [Curry]. When he goes out, we become more traditional, spread the floor, put shooters out there. "Steph and Dray have such a connection that when they're together out there, they're playing their game and we're playing our game. As soon as Draymond leaves the floor, it becomes a different game."
