The Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons by a final score of 128-107 to win Group B. The Knicks blew out the Magic by a final score of 121-106 to win Group A. The Magic advanced as the Wild Card due to point differential. The Hawks had already won Group C. The Bucks and Knicks also advanced to the Knockout Rounds of the NBA Cup last season.
