The combo guard is owed $25.9 million this season and $27.7 million next season. Williams has long been seen as an affordable frontcourt option for contenders. The big man is owed $12.4 million this season and $13.3 million next season. The challenge for a contender trading for Simons or Williams is that both players have been injury prone. Matching salary should be fairly easy, but giving up depth or assets for either player would be a gamble.
