Arsenal are looking to strengthen their attack for the second half of the 2024-25 season, and they have turned their attention to a Paris Saint-Germain player who isn’t Randal Kolo Muani.
The French forward has been frequently linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, as Mikel Arteta’s side looks to add more firepower in their pursuit of silverware this season.
While Kolo Muani is eager for a new opportunity, Arsenal also have a long-term target in mind from PSG.
According to a recent report from The Athletic, Arsenal is interested in signing Kang-in Lee on loan with an option to buy, and the player is said to be open to taking on a new challenge.
However, PSG has no intention of selling Lee, as they hold him in high regard both on and off the pitch. Should Lee wish to leave, PSG would demand a fee of at least €44 million or more.
What’s the latest on the Arsenal-Kang-in Lee transfer rumor?
L’Équipe’s Loïc Tanzi reports that PSG does not want to sell Lee Kang-in. The club would only begin to consider a transfer if an offer exceeding €50 million is made. As for Lee, he is aware of the interest from various clubs but has no immediate desire to leave.
