Arsenal, Chelsea Poised to Pursue €70M-Rated PSG Target as Alexander Isak Alternative

The Victor Osimhen transfer saga saw Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain linked with the Nigerian striker throughout the summer. Now that he’s rediscovering the impressive form he showed during the 2022-23 season, Osimhen is likely to attract even more attention from top clubs when the 2025 transfer windows open.

After a move from Napoli fell through, the 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan, where he’s been in excellent form. He has already scored eight goals and provided five assists in just 11 appearances for the Turkish side this season.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Osimhen’s release clause is set at around €80 million in January, potentially dropping to €70 million next summer. Recently, After Foot RMC’s Daniel Riolo noted that the Ligue 1 side could revisit their interest in Osimhen.

Arsenal and Chelsea remain candidates for Victor Osimhen?

CaughtOffside reported on Thursday, citing sources, that Arsenal and Chelsea are exploring other top forward options, including Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen and Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.

Both are expected to be available for around €75 million, making them potentially better value than Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
