Anthony Randolph Announces Retirement
Veteran forward Anthony Randolph has announced his retirement from professional basketball. Randolph most recently played for Real Madrid in Spain. The versatile 6-foot-11 forward was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the 14th pick of the 2008 NBA Draft. Randolph spent six seasons in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets. In 2014, Randolph moved overseas. He spent two seasons with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia, before moving to Real Madrid in 2016. During his time in Europe, Randolph won EuroLeague twice and Liga ACB three times. The 35-year-old was granted a Slovenian passport in 2017. Randolph then helped Slovenia to a gold medal at the 2017 EuroBasket tournament.
