Ange Postecoglou confirms key Tottenham man is set for six-week injury lay-off

It might be quicker but we’ll see.” Speaking on Sunday about the injury, Postecoglou told Spurs’ club media: “It was just one of those things. It wasn’t like it was even a challenge. “It was just him trying to shoot and twisting his knee. “It’s just one of those things that, unfortunately, we’re going through at the moment.” Since arriving from Bournemouth last summer, Solanke has proven himself as a first team regular under Postecoglou. In 29 matches he has scored 11 times and contributed six assists along the way. However his injury could see Solanke miss a crucial run of games for Tottenham. Solanke also missed the Europa League victory over Hoffenheim on Thursday night, and Ange Postecoglou was asked about his fitness in his post-match press conference.
