Former Chelsea frontman Alvaro Morata and his Italian influencer wife Alice Campello have confirmed they are back together five months after announcing they had split.
The pair answered rumours they were going to give their love affair a second go by posting matching photos showing them smiling and kissing.
They said nothing to illustrate their touching Instagram publications, showing a picture speaks a thousand words.
Roma star Paulo Dybala was among the first to like the Spanish captain and AC Milan forward’s social media post.
The glamorous couple, who met in 2016 and have four young children, announced last August they were going their separate ways seven years after tying the knot.
Spanish sports paper Marca went on to claim an argument over family after the Euro final last year was the catalyst for their shock split.

It was alleged that Alice only wanted herself, their four children and her friends to be on the pitch following Spain’s 2-1 win against England.
That meant Morata’s parents and other family members were not welcomed onto the field to celebrate at full-time, leading to a major deterioration in their relationship.
The 32-year-old later opened up on his battle against depression, admitting he almost didn’t make it to Germany to captain Spain to Euro 2024 glory.
He had received heavy criticism from both fans and journalists in the build-up to the tournament.
Alvaro, who has played for both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid as well as Chelsea, admitted: ‘When you have really tough times, depression, panic attacks, it doesn’t matter what job you do, what situation you have in life, you have another person inside that you have to fight against every day and every night.’
Rumours had been growing the pair had been considering giving their relationship another go.
In her first interview since splitting up with Alvaro, 29-year-old Alice told Forbes Women in an interview late last year: ‘He has loved me very much and very well. He pushed me a lot in all my projects and made me see a good part of myself that perhaps I did not see. For me that is love.’
The successful businesswoman, whose Masqmai brand turned over approximately £7.3million last year, went on to claim she perhaps wasn’t ‘prepared’ for family life and that her pregnancies and postpartums took a toll on her wellbeing, saying: ”I don’t think I was prepared.
Reports have suggested they split after an argument on the pitch when Spain won Euro 2024
Rumours had circulated over recent months that they were planning to give things another go
‘The best thing in my life has been having them so close together and when I see them playing together I find it impressive.
‘But I wasn’t realising how much it has affected me on a mental level. My pregnancies and my postpartums have affected me a lot. Especially the last one, when I almost died.
‘The next day I was trying to be with my children, showing everyone that I was fine. I should have lived through my grief.’
The couple have four children; Alessandro, Leonardo, Edoardo and Bella.
