Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship golf betting preview Just two tournaments remain on this year’s DP World Tour schedule and we’re in for a spectacular finish to the season-long Race to Dubai points race. First up is the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship before the top 50 in the standings head to the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. This week’s host course, Yas Links, is a spectacular layout and frequently wins awards for being the best track in the Middle East. It’s a par 72 measuring 7,425 yards and the clue is in the name as it’s described as the first true links course in the United Arab Emirates. The course was designed by Kyle Phillips, the man responsible for another modern links, Kingsbarns, which is part of the rotation for the Abu Dhabi Links Championship. Like traditional links courses, wind is its main defence and that’s shown in the two previous editions held here. In 2022, Thomas Pieters was the only player to shoot in double digits under when it got gusty but in calmer conditions last year Victor Perez triumphed with 18-under. The forecast this week suggests it shouldn’t blow too hard so expect scoring to be good. Tyrrell Hatton for the win Last year’s triumph for Victor Perez didn’t come as a surprise given that the Frenchman had previously won the Alfred Dunhill Links after having the benefit of having a girlfriend who lived in Dundee, helping him become used to local conditions. So if the Alfred Dunhill Links is a good clue, all roads have to lead to Tyrrell Hatton. The Englishman has won that event three times, his latest victory coming only last month to show that playing LIV golf hasn’t dulled any of his ferocious competitive spirit. Hatton is an expert in these conditions and he’s already shown a liking for Yas Links by finishing sixth (2022) and seventh (2023) in this event. That adds to a brilliant record in the region including a victory in this tournament in 2021 when it was held at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.  He has some big names to beat but Hatton revels in elite company and is a must-bet in bet365’s ‘win only’ market at 7/1. Back Hatton at 7/1 with bet365 in their ‘win only’ market Daniel Brown best each-way pick For an each-way bet at huge odds, Daniel Brown leaps off the page. Brown was a relative unknown to the casual golf viewer until the summer but played some great golf to take the first-round lead and eventually finish 10th in the Open Championship at Royal Troon. The Englishman again showed his liking for links golf with a fourth place in the Irish Open at famed Royal County Down in September and last time out he hit the ball beautifully to finish third at the Andalucia Masters in Spain. Head to Paddy Power who make him a 150/1 shot and offer each-way terms of 1/5 odds, seven places.   Back Daniel Brown each-way at 150/1 with Paddy Power Antoine Rozner for Top 10 Antoine Rozner has two wins in the Middle East and was seventh after 54 holes at this venue last year. The Frenchman has also shown good form of late with seventh in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and fourth at the Genesis Championship in South Korea a fortnight ago. Back Rozner to finish in the top 10 at 9/2 with bet365 How to watch the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship 2024 Venue – Yas Links, Abu Dhabi, UAE Date – Thursday 7th November – Sunday 10th November Broadcast – Full coverage on Sky Sports Golf: Thursday-Saturday 4am – 1pm, Sunday 4am – 12.30pm.
