This summer, Luke Combs is taking time to savor quality family time with his two sons.

“Honestly, my favorite moments this summer were getting to spend some quiet time with my family,” Combs, 35, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while celebrating 50 years of Miller Lite. “Taking the boys fishing, watching their faces light up. It doesn’t get any better.”

The country singer and his wife, Nicole Hocking, share Tex, 3, and Beau, 23 months.

In June, Combs marked his oldest son’s birthday by sharing several family photos on social media.

Country Music’s Biggest Couples

“We’ve had so much fun, made so many memories and I can’t wait for the ones up ahead,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “Me and your Mama are so lucky to be your parents.”

While family time remains a special time for the “Beautiful Crazy” singer, he can’t stay too far away from the stage.

This summer, Combs has had the opportunity to perform at several special events throughout the United States, including the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island and Lollapalooza in Chicago.

My biggest hope is that the songs I play hit people in a real place,” Combs said about his shows. “Whether they’re singing at the top of their lungs to a song that reminds them of a good time, or getting a little emotional over a track that tells a piece of their own story, I just want people to feel connected.”

He continued, “My shows are about letting loose, forgetting your troubles and just being a part of something bigger for a night, hopefully with a Miller Lite in hand.”

Combs said he was “super excited” to release his latest track, titled “Back in the Saddle,” last month.

While he enjoyed some time away “to just be dad for a bit,” Combs said he is working on creating more hits for new and old fans alike.

“‘Back In The Saddle’ says it all — it’s about picking back up where you left off, with even more fire than before,” he shared. “This is just the beginning of a new chapter — I’ve been writing a ton and can’t wait to share what’s next.”

Until then, Combs is raising a glass to success in his personal and professional life. On August 1, the musician teamed up with Miller Lite to celebrate International Beer Day.

“Everyone knows how big of a Miller Lite fan I am. If I’m hanging with buddies, I’m drinking Miller Lite,” he told Us. “It was a no-brainer when they asked me to help thank fans by giving away 50,000 Miller Lites to celebrate 50 years of Miller Time. I think that’s one hell of a way to celebrate, so I’m pumped to be a part of it.”
