Simon Jordan claims Daniel Dubois’ dad threw a party at the boxer’s house on the morning of his fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
Dubois turned up late to Wembley Stadium at around 8.15 – less than two hours before he was due to make his walk to the ring.

Usyk arrived 45 minutes before Dubois, leading to questions over why the Brit was so behind schedule.
Dubois’ camp is yet to address the situation, although Jordan has lifted the lid on some shocking revelations about ‘Triple D’s’ fight day.
“There is a lot of noise, and again, this must not be used as an excuse for Oleksandr Usyk‘s excellence,” said Jordan during an appearance on talkSPORT Breakfast on Monday morning.
“But he [Dubois] had a party at his house before the event, and you have 50,60,70 people at a party that the kid doesn’t know, so he has to go round the corner and drive because he doesn’t know anyone at the party.
“And then you get to the event, and people want this entourage to be brought in.
“And then they start telling security guards that if the entourage isn’t allowed to come in, then Daniel won’t fight.
“And then his dad has other things to say in the corner, which I don’t think are particularly productive.
“Once upon a time, it was considered to be useful because Daniel defers to his father on everything, and I’m not suggesting that his father hasn’t been a massive influence in what we have seen.
“But I’m suggesting there is a balance between being an influence and a destructive force.
“Don Charles is an employee. Don Charles is in the corner working for Daniel Dubois‘ father.

“I’m not looking for excuses, but I’m just saying that I’m not sure the preparation on the day of the event is where it should have been.
“I’m not saying that Oleksandr Usyk wouldn’t have done the same thing to Daniel Dubois, but it doesn’t help him.”
Usyk went on to knock out Dubois in the fifth stanza to be crowned undisputed heavyweight champion once again.
Despite Dubois’ obvious improvements in recent performances, he proved no match for Usyk, who further cemented his legacy as a future first-ballot Hall of Famer in victory.
He is expected to fight once more before hanging up his gloves, with WBO mandatory Joseph Parker currently the frontrunner to face him next.
As for Dubois he will now need a significant rebuild under trainer Don Charles.

Many have blamed the influence of his father in his corner as a sticking factor for his defeat.
He doesn’t want to fight anymore
Former world champion Tony Bellew told talkSPORT Drive that Dynamite’s dad is doing him no favours being in his corner and questioned his desire.
“He has a fantastic coach in Don Charles in his corner, but you don’t employ a boxing trainer to listen to your dad,” he said.
“You don’t pay him to get you in shape for a fight then look at your dad in the corner.
“I feel so sorry for Daniel, he is a lad he is so regimented in his ways. He’s a proper machine and has had a really good career.
“But I think the question needs to be asked, ‘who are you boxing for, why are you doing this?’
“Is it to impress someone because he isn’t fighting for money. I know that for a fact.
“When he gets into these really hard moments in fights, the real Daniel doesn’t want to fight.”
