Ashley Young is set to join Championship club Ipswich, talkSPORT understands.
Young, who was released by Everton at the end of last season, had been in talks over a return to his former club Watford.

However, the Hornets have been priced out of any deal due to the 40-year-old’s wage demands.
Watford had also been keen to make the veteran full-back their captain for the upcoming campaign.
Young made his debut for his boyhood side in the Championship in 2003 and played 110 times for the club before joining Aston Villa for £8million in 2007.
It will be the first time Young has played in the second tier of English football for nearly 20 years.
Having won promotion with the Hornets to the Premier League in 2006, he went on to make 485 top-flight appearances.
Those matches also spanned across spells at Manchester United and the Toffees.
During his time at Old Trafford, Young won six trophies including the Premier League.
Meanwhile, he was a Serie A title winner in Italy with Inter Milan back in 2021.
A move to Ipswich sets Young up for a return to Vicarage Road this season in the Championship.
Their first meeting takes place at Portman Road on November 4.

The Tractor Boys then make the trip to Hertfordshire on February 24.
Young has also previously worked with Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna earlier in his career.
The Northern Irishman spent five years at United prior to taking charge of the East Anglian outfit.
After initially working as a scout and Under-18s manager, McKenna was an assistant to Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick between 2018 and 2021.
He will be hoping to secure an immediate return to the Premier League this term.
Ipswich were relegated in their first top-flight campaign for 23 years after finishing 16 points from safety in 19th.
McKenna has since made three new signings already this summer.
Dutch midfielder Azor Matusiwa has arrived from Rennes, along with the free transfers of goalkeeper David Button and centre-back Cedric Kipre.
