Influencer Mikayla Nogueira had been candid about her ups and downs with estranged husband Cody Hawken before their formal separation.
Nogueira and Hawken met on the dating app Tinder in 2020, nearly one year before getting engaged. The couple wed in July 2023 before going their separate ways in February 2026.
“I want to protect Cody,” Nogueira said in a TikTok video at the time, declining to reveal her reasons for filing for divorce. “Cody deserves that. We both want to heal. Cody deserves to be happy. Cody deserves to be happy. So do I. This is an extremely s****y thing. No one gets married to get a divorce.”

April 2025
Mikayla Nogueira and Cody Hawken first sparked divorce speculation in 2025 after fans noticed Hawken’s absence from his wife’s social media content. Nogueira later revealed that Hawken had actually entered a rehab facility.
“My husband Cody is in rehab and I’m ready to talk about it,” she said in an April 2025 TikTok video. “Cody’s story is not mine to share, but he has given me his blessing to talk about it today.”
Nogueira explained that Hawken relapsed on drugs in January 2024, nearly four months before relapsing with alcohol. (Hawken had been residing in a sober living facility when he met Nogueira in 2021.)
“Putting on a brave face the entire year of 2024 was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life,” Nogueira added. “I felt like I had lost my husband. I watched his addiction worsen and it became so hard in my home and I had to make the really difficult decision to remove Cody from our home.”
She continued, “He ended up getting his own apartment and I said, ‘You need to figure it out,’ because as much as I can try to get Cody to want to be sober he has to want to be sober. The addict is the one who has to get sober.”
Hawken started regularly appearing in Nogueira’s videos by the end of the year upon his return home.
November 2025
Cody Hawken and Mikayla Nogueira put on a united front in a Thanksgiving update.
“I know I’m not always on camera, and I’m not very good at saying these things, but I really do appreciate all you guys,” he said in a rare video message. “The support and love that you’ve given my wife over the years that I do and don’t see has been incredible.”
December 2025
In a pre-holiday TikTok video, Mikayla Nogueira lamented that she was “so done” with 2025.
“I’m really ready for 2026,” she said. “I feel like I learned a lot this year. … One of the biggest lessons I learned this year was setting boundaries.”
Weeks later, Nogueira and Cody Hawken hosted a joint Christmas party. Nogueira also shared what Nogueira bought her for Christmas in a follow-up video of her gift haul.
“I recently learned how to play — and fell in love with — Shanghai Rummy,” she said in another TikTok video. “Cody got me this scorebook.”
Hawken also got Nogueira a Smeg refrigerator and an “Amish cookbook” after watching a series of online videos about the book creator’s lifestyle in the Amish community.
January 2026
Mikayla Nogueira revealed in a January 2026 video that she “went completely MIA” for two weeks after ringing in the new year.
“I barely posted at all recently,” she said. “At the end of 2025, I had an extremely eye-opening epiphany that I am completely f***ing lost and I don’t know who I am.”
Nogueira further claimed that she “jeopardized relationships” by spending all of her time building her influencer career.
“When you’re an influencer, you’re not present,” she said. “I start thinking about my future. … At this point, I only know who I am as the influencer Mikayla. What it took for me to have this random epiphany was that I reconnected with one of my closest friends from high school and they didn’t see me as the influencer Mikayla [after 10 years apart]. It flipped my world upside down.”

February 2026
In a February 2026 TikTok video, Mikayla Nogueira proclaimed that 2026 is her “redemption year.”
“I’m showing up for it,” she said. “This year has a lot of change, and I’m embracing all of it.”
Nogueira later attended Super Bowl LX, where a commenter asked where Hawken was.
“Up your a**,” Nogueira replied in the comments section.
February 2026
Mikayla Nogueira announced via TikTok in February 2026 that she and Cody Hawken were divorcing after nearly three years of marriage.
“Cody and I love each other so much. We love each other so much. We would do literally anything for each other,” she said. “I want you to know that. I’m not going to be sharing any details whatsoever as to why Cody and I have made this decision.”
Nogueira further stressed that her breakup was “very amicable” and unrelated to Hawken’s addiction battle.
