Lindsey Vonn’s sister Karin Kildow has found an unexpected perk amid the skier’s extended hospital stay in Italy: attractive hospital staff!

Kildow shared a Reel to Instagram on Monday, Feb. 16 jokingly encouraging her followers to “delete your dating apps and just go to an Italian emergency room.”

In a video set to “This Will Be (an Everlasting Love)" by Natalie Cole, Kildow filmed a number of good-looking men in scrubs hard at work in the hospital in Treviso where Vonn, 41, was airlifted after her crash in the women’s downhill event on Feb. 8 at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

“I said there would be a silver lining… 😂,” Kildow captioned her post. “In all seriousness shout out to all the truly kind and caring doctors and nurses who helped Lindsey.”

Kildow has been a constant presence by her sister’s side over the last week and a half. In the early hours of Feb. 17, Vonn revealed that she had been discharged from the hospital after undergoing multiple surgeries and was “back on home soil” in the U.S.

“Haven’t stood on my feet in over a week… been in a hospital bed immobile since my race,” she wrote on X. “And although I’m not yet able to stand, being back on home soil feels amazing ❤️🇺🇸 #imhome #BeLv. Huge thank you to everyone in Italy for taking good care of me🙏🏻”

Vonn previously gave a shoutout to those helping through her time in the hospital with a video that showed her family and medical staff taking care of her, from brushing and braiding her hair and feeding her to giving her massages.

“Thankful for friends, family, my team and all the medical staff that are getting me back to myself…. I’m slowly coming back to life, back to basics and the simple things in life that mean the most. Smile. Laugh. Love. 🙏🏻❤️,” she captioned her post. “My sister @kar_inthegarage made this video and it instantly made me cry and made my heart full. Love you guys ❤️”

Actress Mariska Hargitay was also among those to offer support, as she shared a photo of herself visiting Vonn in the hospital to her Instagram Stories on Feb. 16.

Two days earlier, Vonn urged fans not to be “sad” for in an Instagram post, and asked instead for love, support and empathy.

“The ride was worth the fall. When I close my eyes at night I don’t have regrets and the love I have for skiing remains,” Vonn wrote. “I am still looking forward to the moment when I can stand on the top of the mountain once more. And I will. 💪🏻❤️”
