Bad Bunny is just days away from headlining the biggest event in the country, as he will take the stage at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. However, rumors have swirled for months that the recent Album of the Year Grammy winner will not be alone during his performance.

In his first public remarks about the speculation, Bad Bunny played coy about who could be joining him during football’s grand finale and what viewers can expect from the show.

During an Apple Music press conference on Thursday, Feb. 5, Bad Bunny fielded questions about his anticipated Super Bowl 60 halftime show but stopped short of giving away any details regarding special guests.

“I don’t want to give any spoilers…“That’s something I’m not gonna tell you,” he said when asked if anyone would be joining him, according to Deadline. “It’s gonna be fun, and it’s gonna be a party. It’s gonna be easy, and people only have to worry about dance.”

Bad Bunny also clarified that knowing Spanish is not a requirement to enjoy his performance, despite previously saying critics had “four months” to learn the language.

“I know that I told him that they had four months to learn Spanish, but they don’t even have to learn Spanish. They just have to learn how to dance. But I think there’s a better dance … the one that comes from the heart — the heartbeat dance. That’s the only thing that they need to worry about. And have fun, enjoy,” he said.

The New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will face off in Super Bowl 60, which will be held this year in Santa Clara, California, at Levi’s Stadium.

Patriots star Stefon Diggs recently played the coy game as well, when asked if girlfriend Cardi B will be performing at the big game. “I don’t know, we can call and ask her,” Diggs said, according to PEOPLE.

Almost immediately after Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner, fans speculated that Cardi would join him on stage to perform their massive hit, “I Like It,” which to date, is the biggest hit of both of their careers.

During a February 3 press conference, NFL's chief security officer, Cathy Lanier, confirmed that those attending the Super Bowl will not have to worry about the presence of ICE.

"There is not ICE deployed with us at this Super Bowl and I don't believe there has been in the last several, but most of the other departments from the Coast Guard to ... many other agencies are here," Lanier said, per USA Today.

As he accepted his Grammy for Album of the year on Sunday, Feb. 1, Bad Bunny slammed ICE and its extreme and deadly practices.

“Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say: ICE out,” he said, according to The Hill. “We’re not savages. We’re not animals. We’re not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans.”

“I was thinking sometimes we get contaminados,” Bad Bunny added. “The hate [gets] more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love.”

In October 2025, shortly after Bad Bunny was announced as the Super Bowl halftime show headliner, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the criticism.

“It's carefully thought through,” Goodell said, according to Entertainment Weekly. “I'm not sure we've ever selected an artist where we didn't have some blowback or criticism. It's pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.”

Goodell also shared that the league is “confident” in Bad Bunny. “He understands the platform that he's on and I think it's going to be exciting and a united moment.”
