Michigan State football is the latest power program to extend an offer to a defensive lineman prospect from Pennsylvania.

Stanley Montgomery of Philadelphia announced on Tuesday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Montgomery made the offer from the Spartans known by posting on his social media X account.

Montgomery is listed as a three-star prospect in the 2027 class, with a recruiting rating of 88 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 53 defensive lineman in the class, and is also ranked as the No. 537 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to extend an offer to Montgomery, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Penn State, Syracuse, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Kentucky, NC State, Pitt, Virginia, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Temple and James Madison.
