Actor Nick Cannon recalled being "traumatized" by losing his virginity at age 13. During a new episode of his "Nick Cannon @ Night" podcast, the performer revealed why the moment had a profound impact on him.
Months before opening up about such a private moment, Nick Cannon got candid about being "careless" in his relationships, which led him to father 12 children by six different women.
Nick Cannon Says Losing Virginity At 13 'Traumatized' Him, Thought He 'Let Jesus Down'
In the latest episode of Cannon's late-night podcast, where the "Drumline" actor talks sex and relationships, dating, and more, he got real about losing his virginity.
The performer said that he was actually "traumatized" after the event because he believed he was "too young" and felt like he "let Jesus down" because it happened at a church event.
Cannon revealed more about the clearly distressing moment, saying he was "pressured" into the act. "I was 13 and a half, and the girl was 16," Cannon said, later noting that he felt he needed to make a name for himself.
Nick Cannon Talks The Moment He Vowed Never To Let A Woman Laugh At Him Again

Cannon shared that losing his virginity with the unnamed woman wasn't what he hoped it would be because he lacked experience. "So she laughed at me. They made fun of me … the whole gymnasium," he said.
Cannon said that after that moment, he "vowed" never to let a woman laugh at him again.
Later in the episode, Cannon said that the moment stopped the actor from being intimate with a woman again for years, admitting that he "probably didn't have sex again probably until I was like 16 or 17."
Nick Cannon Says He Had So Many Kids Due To Trauma

According to a previous report from The Blast, Cannon spoke with co-hosts on "The Breakfast Club" about his 12 children with six different women, admitting the flock of mini-mes came from being "careless" with women.
"It wasn't like I was acting out. It was more of being careless, being frivolous with my process because I could do it, because I had the money [and] because I had the access to whoever and however I wanted to move," Cannon said. "Then, obviously, life happens as well, so it wasn't like 'Oh, I'm gonna go have 12 kids.' It was more about like, 'Yo, I'm gonna just live life and have fun and whatever happens happens. I can handle it.'"

Elsewhere in the episode, Cannon revealed that the older version of himself would've told the younger him to slow down when it came to having children. However, he doesn't regret anything about his past because he said all of his children were made "out of love."
"If I would have did the work [and] the healing after getting divorced, I probably would have took my time in a lot other scenarios, and for whatever reason, I thought that was the answer a lot of times, like 'Oh, I'm gonna figure it out over here,'" he said. "Now, you're leaving trauma every step of the way instead of fixing it from its origin."

Cannon ruffled some feathers after speaking about his children on an earlier episode of his "We Playin Spades" podcast.
Cannon spoke with his co-host and guest about fighting. While they agreed that they didn't condone physical violence, Cannon said that it was important for parents to teach their children how to "defend themselves."
"Knowing how to throw your hands [as a man] will help you in life," he said.
Cannon went further and said that he'd rather "raise a bully than my child to be bullied."
Social media users blasted the "Masked Singer" host for circulating rhetoric they believed to be harmful.
"D-mn, why not just raise your kid to be kind, but also to stand up for themselves when need be?" someone asked, while another said parents should strive to "raise decent and kind humans."
