The actress has broken her silence on the divorce filing, noting that she was completely caught off guard by her estranged husband as they were working on their relationship before now.

The star added that her focus remains on her children and career, as she urged everyone to respect the privacy of the ongoing matter and stop making unhealthy assumptions "particularly ones that unfairly and disproportionately scrutinize women simply for doing their jobs."
