New England Patriots fans were on the edge of their seats during the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs, and Cardi B was no exception.

The rapper and girlfriend of New England wide receiver Stefon Diggs shared her thoughts on the Pats’ 16-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, January 11, with a little help from Tyra Banks and America’s Next Top Model.

Taking to Instagram moments after the game ended, Cardi, 33, shared a clip of Banks, 52, from the show, in which she approaches the contestants and asks, “How many people were scared?”

Everyone, Banks included, raises their hand.

She also shared a video of her own reaction after she watched from home, in which she encouraged the Chargers to begin their offseason vacation.

“That’s what I am talking about,” Cardi said. “Take them to Tulum. They want to go to Tulum tonight on Delta. Put them on Delta.”

Cardi and Diggs, 32, were first linked in 2024 and went public with their relationship the following May. They welcomed their first baby, a boy, together in November.

Cardi B’s Outfit Goes Viral in Photo With Patriots’ Owner Robert Kraft

Cardi’s support of Diggs and the Patriots’ playoff run comes while Diggs is facing accusations of assault and strangulation by his former private chef. Since news of the allegations broke on December 30, Cardi has stuck by Diggs’ side, even sharing an alleged text message from the alleged victim in a since-deleted post via X, following it with a fiery statement of her own.

“I’m sooo sorry, I can’t talk to you, I didn’t say that especially in the way it was written, please contact my mediator and she will answer anything you need to know. But only in person and confidently,” read the alleged text message, posted on Tuesday, January 6.

“Not once has that woman said anything to me about being touched.. NOT ONCE!!,” Cardi wrote according to TMZ. “Mind you, we was talking every single day until she left that house and she JUST wrote me this.. but I’m gonna let the courts handle s*** and when it gets handled I want all yall talkin s*** on your f***in knees with apologies just as loud the way yall been harassing over a lie… and I put that on my two month old son in the name of the lord!! Cardi B Claps Back at Fans Criticizing Her Relationship With Stefon Diggs

Diggs, for his part, denied the allegations against him in a statement through his lawyer, David Meier.

“They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated and were never investigated — because they did not occur,” Meier told Us Weekly in a statement on December 30. “The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: They are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law.”

With Diggs’ arraignment now postponed until after the Super Bowl, the wide receiver remains eligible to play for the Patriots as their playoff run continues. New England will face either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Houston Texans in the Divisional Round on Sunday, January 18.
