VfB Stuttgart is among the clubs interested in pursued Zakaria El Ouahdi, according to reports from Het Laatste Nieuws.
The Antwerp native, who made his debut for the Moroccan national team in June 2025, is also highly sought after in England.
A duo of of Premier League sides in Crystal Palace and Everton are said to have made inquiries about El Ouahdi.
For Stuttgart, the signing could become more realistic in the summer, considering VfB is well-staffed on the right flank.
However, Pascal Stenzel's contract is expiring and Leonidas Stergiou is a loan candidate and only plays a minor role in the side.
As things stand, that leaves Lorenz Assignon and Josha Vagnoman, who is also occasionally needed on the opposite side of defence.
El Ouahdi is under contract with Genk until 2028 and correspondingly, a high transfer fee would be necessary to release him prematurely.
Stuttgart generated a substantial transfer surplus in the summer so their coffers should therefore still be sufficiently full.
