Kentucky Football has announced another two commitments on Saturday night.
Mississippi State safety Cyrus Reyes announced his commitment, giving the Wildcats another piece in the secondary. Reyes played in 25 games during the past two seasons for the Bulldogs, recording 12 total tackles. Reyes is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety from Katy, Texas, and was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class.
Reyes becomes the 18th addition to Kentucky’s transfer portal class under new head coach Will Stein. While his stat line is modest, Kentucky is betting on his size, athleticism, and SEC experience to help bolster depth in the defensive backfield.
Kentucky also landed a key piece on special teams with the commitment of kicker Adam Zouagui, according to Jacob Polacheck of KSR. In the 2025 season, Zouagui was at South Florida after transferring from Davidson College. During the 2023 season at Davidson, he earned honorable mention All-PFL honors and tied the school record by making 46 consecutive extra points, finishing 54-for-55 on PATs while going 7-for-9 on field goals.
His 2024 season was more uneven, as he went 4-for-16 on field goals but remained reliable on extra points, making 42 of 44. Zouagui arrives as Kentucky plans to return kicker Jacob Kauwe for 2026, setting up competition at the position.
Zouagui is the 17th portal addition for Stein, and together with Reyes, these moves show Kentucky addressing both defense and special teams as it reshapes its roster. With nearly 20 portal additions already, the Wildcats are rapidly building depth and experience for the next era of Kentucky football.
