STILLWATER — For the second time in three days, the Oklahoma State football program has brought an Okie back home through the transfer portal.

Texas Tech transfer Maurion Horn, who is from Broken Arrow, committed to the Cowboys on Tuesday, a day after visiting the OSU campus. He joins Del City High School product Kanijal Thomas, who transferred from Kansas State, in choosing the Cowboys this week.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Horn will be a redshirt junior in the fall and comes to OSU with a good amount of experience. He appeared in 30 games over three seasons at Texas Tech, finishing with 64 tackles and eight pass breakups.

He was a top-five recruit on The Oklahoman’s Super 30 for the 2022 class coming out of Broken Arrow, where he starred as a running back and defensive back.
