Earlier this month, USC got great news when the Trojans announced that starting quarterback Jayden Maiava will return for his senior season. On Monday, Maiava was likely excited to learn that he will be getting his left tackle back, too, as offensive lineman Elijah Paige re-signed with USC for the 2026 season.
After redshirting as a true freshman in 2023, Paige has started at left tackle each of the past two seasons for the Trojans. In 2024, he was named a freshman All-American and earned All-Big Ten honorable mention recognition.
Paige’s return is big for USC, who should bring back the vast majority of its starting offensive lineman for 2026. Perhaps the biggest domino left to fall for the unit is junior offensive guard Alani Noa, who has yet to officially re-sign with the Trojans.
First, however, USC still has one more game left to play in 2025. Paige and the Trojans wrap up the year in the Alamo Bowl against TCU on Tuesday night.
