The Denver Broncos brought back a familiar face on their practice squad this week.
Calvin Throckmorton was waived last week to make room for center Sam Mustipher. After clearing waivers on Monday, Throckmorton re-signed with Denver's practice squad on Tuesday.
Throckmorton (6-5, 311 pounds) is a sixth-year player who started his career as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon with the New Orleans Saints. The versatile lineman has spent time at guard, center and tackle. Throckmorton has 27 career starts on his NFL resume, but he has served as a backup since joining the Broncos in 2024.
