Which do you prefer, flashy, great at times, but inconsistent, or good, steady and unshakable? The Denver Broncos beat the Raiders in Las Vegas on Sunday. That puts the Broncos at the top of the AFC. If the playoffs started today, Denver would have a bye and then home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Broncos haven’t been beaten up yet this year. Their two losses in an 11 and 2 record were each on the last play of the game. They also haven’t run away with many games. The Washington game is the only time we’ve seen the backups going in because the game was in hand. Despite injuries, penalties, and youth on the offensive side of the ball, the Broncos are a consistently strong team. They aren’t chasing personal statistics, they’re chasing wins.

How has this team evolved so quickly from a mess into a contender? Leadership. Leadership from the owners. Leadership in the front office. Leadership from the coaches. Leadership in the locker room. Leadership on the field. When the team becomes the number one priority, and the focus on winning permeates the building, personal issues and statistics become irrelevant. The team record of 11 and 2 is what counts. I’m proud of the team the Broncos have become. Go Broncos!
