Dec. 9—GROVE CITY — With the departure of 11 seniors from 2024-25, it will take time for the inexperienced Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City boys basketball team to hit its stride this season.

Led by All-Area Second Team selection and graduate Marcus Forsythe, the Falcons played to a 13-14 overall record and a 7-7 mark in the Central Minnesota Conference last season.

"We will be a very inexperienced team that will grow and get better as the season progresses," said ACGC head coach Terry Miller, who will have assistant coaches Dave Zaeska, John Cunningham, Samantha Holmquist and Dylan Hoerchler on his staff.

Micah Morrison and David Jorgensen both started games at times in the 2024-25 season.

Morrison, a 6-foot-1 senior wing, averaged 3.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per game as a junior.

"Micah can score in a lot of different ways and has some varsity experience," Miller said.

Jorgensen, a 6-0 sophomore wing, had 2.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game as a freshman.

"David is a proven contributor on both ends of the floor," Miller said.

Oliver Weseman will see a sizable increase in minutes for Miller and company this season.

"Oliver will do a lot of the ball handling and run the show," Miller said of the 6-0 senior guard.

Miller is also looking for senior posts Gage Degner and Dayton Buer to step up in their roles.

"Gage has shown the ability to score in the low post," Miller said. "Dayton is an athletic big man who can run the floor and impact the game in a lot of different ways."
