Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola made sure her wedding was extra sweet.
Days after the Jersey Shore star married Justin May at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, Us Weekly is learning new details about the unforgettable ceremony.
“Their vows were very touching and heartwarming,” one source close to the couple exclusively shared with Us after the December 4 nuptials. “One of Sammi’s sisters walked their 3-month-old son, Vincent, down the aisle, and it was an emotional moment.”
The entire cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation — minus Sammi’s ex Ronnie Ortiz-Magro — were in attendance and danced the night away.

The meatballs — known to fans as Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Nicole Cortese — “were the craziest on the dance floor,” according to the source.
The insider added that Snooki, Deena and Angelina Pivernick surprised the couple by introducing DJ Cupid to the reception. He proceeded to perform the “Cupid Shuffle.”
At one point during the celebrations, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino said a prayer, which the source decided as “very nice and touching.”
While fans of the couple will have to wait for future episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation to see highlights, the bride and groom surprised fans on Monday, December 8, with an official photo from their big day.
“Husband and wife 🤍🥹 @j_may36,” Sammi wrote via Instagram while showcasing her wedding dress from Castle Couture Bridal in New Jersey. Eventful Days by Kris Marie served as the wedding planner while Fiore Designs provided flowers.
Paul A. Cozzi III, who serves as a jeweler at Cozzi Jewelers, provided wedding bands for the couple and shared exclusive details about the final design.
“Sammi is so classic. We did a nice round brilliant cut diamond, five stone band with white gold prongs to accentuate the diamonds and the brilliant cuts, and then a yellow gold shank, just like her engagement ring,” Cozzi shared with Us. “It pairs beautifully together. I always use VS diamonds, real quality diamonds in all the rings, and it just pairs so well with her ring. It is such a classic and timeless design.”
Justin also received praise for his eye for design when picking out a ring.
“He did a really clean and nice design. It’s a beveled edge, so it’s a flat top, beveled edge and with a stone finish,” Cozzi shared. “The stone finish kind of works off the polished edges, pulls it together and shines really, really nice. He was very excited about wearing a ring too.”

Sammi and Justin went public with their relationship in November 2021. Justin later proposed to the MTV reality star in March 2024, though the couple didn’t share the news until the following month.
As the couple continues to document their biggest moments on Jersey Shore, a source close to the couple reiterated that both Sammi and Justin made sure their wedding was a night to remember.
“The venue was unreal. It looked like a royal wedding inside. The flowers and everything were so gorgeous from top to bottom,” the insider said before revealing the menu included sushi, lobster tails and Italian food. “They had fresh sliced prosciutto, and they even had the old school cheese wheel with the pasta in it.”
