Orlando Bloom has broken his silence on his broken-down relationship with pop star Katy Perry.

The former engaged couple announced their split in a statement but noted that they'll "be seen together as a family" as they continue their co-parenting efforts with their daughter, Daisy.

While directly addressing their breakup in a new interview, Orlando Bloom stated that he and Katy Perry have "nothing but love" for each other.

Bloom has finally spoken on his split from ex-fianceé Perry after dating for almost a decade.

The pair first met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016 and began dating shortly after, but took a break from each other in 2017.

They made up and eventually got engaged in 2019, with the COVID-19 pandemic delaying their initial wedding plans the following year. Unfortunately, they called it quits on their relationship in July.

During his interview on the "Today" show on Friday while promoting his new movie, "The Cut," the 48-year-old actor dished on where he and the "Roar" singer stand.

"There's been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?" host Craig Melvin asked him.

"I'm great, man. I'm so grateful," Bloom replied, before going on to speak about their daughter, Daisy. "We have the most beautiful daughter. You know, when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it."

He added, "And we're great. We're going to be great. Nothing but love."

Back in July, various rumors circulated about Bloom and Perry's split, prompting the former couple to address it via a joint statement.

"Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting," their spokesperson told Us Weekly.

"They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect," the statement added.

Although Bloom and Perry had an "amicable" separation, an insider told Us Weekly that it was "a long time coming" and that things between them had "been tense for months."

Reports also suggested that the dismal reception of the singer's latest album, "143," started forming cracks in their romance and was compounded by the backlash she faced following her all-female space trip.

"Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album," a source told People Magazine in June. "It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension."

The insider who spoke to Us Weekly said that while she was "upset" about their split, she was "relieved to not have to go through another divorce," because the end of her marriage to Russell Brand "was the worst time in her life."

Orlando Bloom Opens Up About Losing 52 Pounds For 'The Cut's

Bloom recently disclosed the extreme length he took to be the perfect fit for his role in the newly released boxing film "The Cut."

During his appearance on "This Morning," he revealed that he rapidly lost 52 pounds for his role as a retired boxer getting back into the ring, and explained that he was quite paranoid and feared that he'd lose his life.

"I was just exhausted," he said, explaining that he had "no energy or brain power" after living on just tuna and cucumber in the lead-up to filming the movie. "Just mentally, physically, I was angry. I was a horrible person to be around."

Bloom admitted he suffered "paranoia" and "intrusive thoughts" as his nutritionist "tiered [him] down from three meals a day to two."

"Suddenly, all these foods were being taken away from me, and my protein powder was the last one," he explained. "I was like, 'No! Don't take that one.' Then basically I came down to [eating] just tuna and cucumber for the last three weeks."

"We're supposed to eat and sleep and take care of ourselves," he added. "It's really a commentary on the lengths a person will go to have that second shot. I think that's so relatable."
