Travis Kelce is on cloud nine right now.
The legendary Kansas City Chiefs tight end is officially engaged to Taylor Swift, and it’s fair to say their announcement nearly broke the internet.
Swift and Kelce took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that, ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married’.
Their post has already been liked nearly 30 million times.
The couple have received congratulations from just about anyone who’s anyone in the hours since, and on Wednesday morning, Jason Kelce also addressed the news.
Speaking in a promo for the New Heights podcast, he offered his congratulations as the family is set to grow.
“There is one gigantic piece of new news that just hit the waves,” Jason began.
“We recorded this podcast on Monday, Travis’ one day off, so he isn’t here to address this himself.
“But we felt it necessary as a team, here at New Heights, to get together and send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged!
“The proposal heard around the world. F*** yeah!”
Who else has congratulated Swift and Kelce on their engagement?
High-profile figures from across the world have also shared messages for Swift and Kelce after the proposal of the century.
Chiefs quarterback and Kelce’s close friend, Patrick Mahomes, celebrated the news by sharing the post alongside love hearts.

His wife, Brittany, posted her own tribute and wrote: “Two of the most genuine people meet and fall in love.
“Just so happy for these two.’
Even some members of the royal family reacted to the news, with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ joint social media account liking the post.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, also did the same.
US President Donald Trump also sent his congratulations to the couple.
“Well, I wish them a lot of luck,” he said, amid an hours-long cabinet meeting.

“I think he’s a great player, I think he’s a great guy and I think that she’s a terrific person.”
When will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce next appear in public?
While it’s unclear when the happy couple will step out together again, NFL fans won’t likely have to wait long to see Swift on their screens again.
The singer has become a regular at Arrowhead Stadium in recent years as she cheers on Kelce from the stands.
With the 2025 season just days away, she could well be back in her box when the Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch on September 14.
Swift could also choose to make the trip to Brazil to cheer on Kelce in Kansas City’s opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo next Friday.
