Mary-Kate Olsen has kept her love life private for decades — but that doesn’t mean there’s been a shortage of men in her orbit.
Mary-Kate and her twin sister, Ashley Olsen, rose to fame in 1987 when they both played Michelle Tanner on Full House. The sisters’ careers soared thanks to their direct-to-video films made under their production company, Dualstar Entertainment Group’s umbrella. They later left Hollywood to become fashion designers and live in New York City.
As their fame increased, Mary-Kate and Ashley’s love lives became just as well-followed as their careers. Mary-Kate’s first public romance was in 2002 when she briefly dated Henry Winkler’s son, Max Winkler.
Despite being linked to Heath Ledger in the early 2000s and marrying French banker Olivier Sarkozy in 2015, Mary-Kate has managed to keep her relationships out of the spotlight whenever possible.
